Director: Miss Rosi

"My name is Rosi McCalley and I began working here at TLC Child Care Center in September 2011. After completing my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from West Chester University, I later attended Arcadia University to earn my ESL Specialist certificate. I began working as a director in 2009 and completed the Director's Credential Certificate program at Northampton Community College in 2011.

All my experiences working in early childhood have been a pleasure. I value a school environment that is fun, safe and built on kindness and respect.  I am very excited to be part of TLC Child Care Center and to have the opportunity to work for a non-profit center in my own community. I look forward to working with TLC families for years to come!"

Assistant Director: Miss Colleen

My name is Colleen Wulterkens. I am certified in elementary education and early childhood through DeSales University. I have worked at TLC since 2004, working through summers and winter breaks. Many years later, I am still here! It is my home away from home. I consider the teachers, children, and their families to be part of my family here at TLC. The closeness and familiarity of this center are what make it TLC. I have seen some children start here as infants, and now I look and they are in summer camp. It is incredible to see them as they mature each year. I am very excited to continue my journey at TLC, working as the assistant director.

Pre-K Counts Teachers: Miss Sarah and Miss Jess

"My name is Sarah Wolford. I graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. I worked as a substitute teacher in Souderton and Pennridge for three years prior to working as an Assistant Director. I have been with TLC since 2013. I enjoy teaching and a passion for helping children. I just love to see their little minds at work! I also encourage children to take risks and challenging themselves to try new things."

"My name is Jess Custer or Jessie as the kids call me! I took child development classes in the 11th grade and enjoyed it very much! These classes motivated my career choice after I graded from Pennridge High School. I enjoy doing many activities with the children, but my favorites are puzzles, reading together, and gross motor time. My kids know I'm always willing to help with a puzzle or read a story with silly voices and all! I take pride in my job and enjoy every smile and hug."

As a child care professional and advocate for young children, I strive to meet the individual needs of each child. It is important to nurture a child's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth through play in a safe environment."
