I received my Associates in Early Childhood Education from Bucks Community College in 2011. As a proud teacher and TLC parent of Gemma and Hunter- I am just so thankful to be here! I believe that through working with children I can play a major role in their lives. I love caring for children and watching them grow as they express themselves in their own way.
Miss Erika Franklin
I began working at TLC in 2018 after earning my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2018. I have experience working with children of all ages. I formally taught gymnastics for five years and worked as a lead toddler teacher in a preschool. I feel that children deserve the chance to be educated properly while being cared for and shown compassion by their educators. It’s important to be patient, kind, and accepting of the children when educating them as well as meeting their individual needs. Each child should be given a time to shine and show off their accomplishments as well as strengths, it’s important to build a child’s self-esteem and confidence. I also believe that communication between parents and teachers is a key part in a child’s development, and I value the relationships that are built in doing so.
